Junior Preparatory (Grades 1 to 3) - building confidence and balanced growth
At St Martin’s Junior Preparatory, we emphasise nurturing each child’s confidence and fostering holistic development. Our approach encourages a growth mindset, focusing on the learning process alongside academic achievement. Through diverse learning styles and the use of Thinking Maps, students get to explore their full potential and expand their knowledge.
Our curriculum is anchored by internationally accredited methodologies such as Singapore Maths and the THRASS language programme. These provide students with a solid foundation in numeracy and literacy skills. Weekly visits to specialised areas, such as the digital learning room, music room, computer centre, library, and physical education classes, enrich the educational journey. Educational outings complement classroom themes, and an integrated sports programme introduces Grade Ones to various athletic disciplines.
We maintain close communication with parents through regular meetings and progress reports, and our dedicated team includes therapists who provide occupational therapy, speech therapy, and play therapy as needed. Additionally, class teachers offer pupil support lessons to assist children who require extra academic support.

In the Senior Preparatory phase at St Martin’s, we entrench our philosophy that education is life itself.
