I just wanted to thank you and your staff on how well you've handled this tumultuous school year amidst the covid-19 pandemic. No doubt it has affected school operations and the school year immensely, but you have come through with flying colours. I am ever so grateful for St Martins and the way the school community cares so much for and about our children. Both Bokang and Rorisang are both so happy and secure. I also want to thank you for making the transitioning back to class so seamless, as well as jumping quickly onto blended learning models during the previous lockdown levels to keep classes going.
Thank you and congratulations on a wonderful and triumphant effort!
I attempted to teach Nehema how to ride his bicycle, I got frustrated and gave up. After one hour at mountain biking, he learnt how to ride his own bicycle! This is impressive! St Martin’s is not a cheap school, but what the kids get out of the school is priceless. Thanks for raising Nehema so well!

As the Mahlambi family we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at St Martin's Prep for all your assistance in getting our children, Uluthando (Grade 4) and Yenkosi (Grade 2), connected to Teams so they can commence with their academic year virtually. We experienced challenges connecting them to Teams on our own and we are so thankful to the staff and Mrs Venter for going the extra mile to assist us technically and ensuring that our children can join their classmates virtually and start learning. Over and above that, Ms Nel arranged extra lessons for our daughter on a Saturday to help her to catch up and Mrs Easton and other teachers assisted our son to catch up on what he had missed during the first few days of school.
"Where every child is known" - we have seen this value in action at St Martin's Prep and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all. May God continue to richly bless this school and shine His wonderful face on all the staff and learners.
We would like to say a BIG thank you for your time, effort, all the hard work that goes into planning, quick responses, the constant feedback and check-ins and we do acknowledge that this is new for you too – the good thing is that we all in this together and will go through the ups and downs together but we can make it work and, well, we have been making it work.
We all are very happy to come back to school and to continue our kids studies. Regarding our remote learning, I think that you are doing all possible to make our kids feel, that they are still part of school, that doing their lessons is their job and kids must do their best. Motivation is something, that makes us all move forward. All videos are so helpful, they provide kids with all necessary info that kids need to complete their tasks. And I think considering recent situation with lock down, our kids are so blessed to be part of St Martin’s family!
Thank you and the St Martins team for all you’ll effort to make this new way of learning for Evan a pleasant one. It is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for all your efforts with videos and Power Point, you are really doing an awesome job with technology.

Happy with how the week has progressed. Happy with the current system of sending videos as they are very much helpful.
The class story is awesome – certainly prepares children what to expect for the day. Thank you for the Catch-up day…I can breathe a bit.
Thank you so much for the videos. It really helps Liyana understand everything much better and me too.
The video Clips have been AMAZING!!!! It’s been so much better for Larushen (and I) to hear your explanations – he is completely engaged and so happy to hear your voice. Thank you also for the morning ring – it is so appreciated.
I must say I have so much love and appreciation for you. The level of respect I have for you is beyond these words. How u guys do it everyday is beyond me. Some days we laugh and we enjoy watching the videos we received from you. This period has been very challenging but we are almost at the end and I would like to thank you for the effort and support you have given us.
The online learning as a whole has been working well Lesedi is able to wake up on time as well as has a routine in place already to be able to work efficiently as well as effectively.
Videos and PowerPoints have been very helpful and we appreciate all our hard work and efforts. We have had no issues opening work or submitting work. Very happy with the format for how the weekly work gets sent home. Thank you for everything you and Mrs Nel have put into place for our little ones.
Reading Eggs is a great app, very cool. Everything has been great, thank you so much for all your hard work.
Everything has been going well. Videos have been very clear with explanations. Your explanations are very easy for the children to follow.
One of the best compliments a teacher can get is when a student goes home and says ‘Mom I had a great day at school’ Both Membilli and Cielo do this every day. THANKS. Thank you for recognizing the effort and dedication that Cielo puts into his work and seeing beyond the ordinary. Mr Molefe words made Cielo really smile tonight. At first Cielo was rather apprehensive, but it was refreshing to see how his body language and attitude changed when he heard the positive feedback and somehow he realized that the teachers actually care about him.
First of all, I wish to thank the Principal and the entire Staff of St Martin’s School for the amazing support and assistance for my daughter Miss Owami Osei-Fofie. I also wish to specifically express my deep sense of appreciation and gratitude to the headmaster, Mrs Pereira, Mrs Engela and Mrs McGregor for saving the life of Owami and for your unflinching support and the love and care that you have shown so far. This has been amazing and incredible. You have truly demonstrated that St Martin’s is a real Christian School which really cares for its students and their entire family.

My son is Naledi Mahane in grade 000. I am very excited to be a part of the St Martin’s family once more. My son Lehlonolo Maloi, in grade 10, passed on in 2012. In his sick bed he had one wish, which was that if I had another baby that I must please make sure that I enrol him at St Martin’s. I am glad that I fulfilled his wishes.
I love St Martin’s with all my heart and soul. Thank you so much for being such a good teacher and mother to all our children. I can already see the difference in my son.
