Daily Lego Challenge
As the Principal I am really missing the contact that I have with the children each day. I enjoy going off to the classroom to teach my HSS and my daily walkabouts are always entertaining. I love to see what the children are learning and listen to their stories along the way.
During this period of remote learning, in order to create some contact with the children and to keep them busy, I started a daily Lego challenge. Whenever my Dojo alerts me to a new photograph, I am excited, especially when I see the smiley face holding the Lego.
I certainly hope it has been as beneficial for the children as it has been for me. We all know that building Lego develops many skills - problem solving, patience, organization, teamwork, adventure, spatial awareness and fine motor. Keep building!
