School Fees – understanding our fee structure

At St Martin’s, we believe in the value of a quality education. Our fee structure for January 2025 reflects our commitment to providing your child with an exceptional learning experience, both inside the classroom and beyond our campus.

Pre-Prep phase (Grade 000 to Grade 0)

For our youngest students in the Pre-Prep Phase (up to and including Grade 0) tuition fees cover comprehensive supervision until 17h00, eliminating the need for additional aftercare charges during term time, ensuring your child's safety and continued learning. Additionally, a nutritious lunch and two snacks are provided daily.

Supporting academic excellence

We are dedicated to supporting every student to reach his or her full potential. To this end, our tuition fees include subject clinics and access to extra lessons. Our teachers are readily available to support your child's academic journey.

Additional costs

Please note that ancillary levy, boarding fees, and outsourced sports costs are not included in tuition fees for 2025. These costs are outlined separately, to provide transparency and clarity regarding the full financial commitment associated with your child's education at St Martin’s.

Fee Payment Policy

Upon a student’s acceptance at the school, a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of R12,000 is to be paid, prior to the student entering the School. The amount of the fee is determined by the Governing Council, and may need to be revised from time to time.

Upon acceptance of a pupil, and prior to admission, the parent/s, guardian/s, or sponsoring organisation responsible for payment are required to pay the following fees:

  • Enrolment fee: This fee secures a place in the school, and is non-refundable.
  • School fee or tuition
  • Extra costs

Withdrawal notice policy

Parents, guardians, or sponsoring organisations agree to provide one full term’s written notice before withdrawing a pupil from the school. This notice must reach the Head of the school before the first day of the term when withdrawal is intended. Failure to give such notice will result in full payment of fees for the term, regardless of the pupil's attendance.

Payment methods and terms

  • Annual Fees are payable by the 15th January 2025.
  • Termly Fees are payable on the first day of term via the School's Debit Order system.

All fees and charges may be reviewed during the course of the year.

Please understand that, in order to maintain the school’s healthy financial status, interest will have to be levied on overdue fees.

Additional charges

Parents are responsible for any charges incurred due to dishonoured payments or payment reversals by banks, and the school reserves the right to charge for costs related to the recovery of unpaid fees and collection charges.
