St Martin’s School is a member of ISASA and as such we follow the three-term ISASA calendar, with Easter, Trinity and Michaelmas Terms. Each term is approximately three months long with a mid-term break.

Easter Term - Wednesday 14 January (Staff Day 13 Jan) – Thursday 2 April
Half Term - Thursday 19 February to Tuesday 24 February
Public holidays: None
Trinity Term - Tuesday 5 May (Staff Day 4 May) – Friday 7 August
Half Term - Friday 26 June to Monday 6 July
Public Holidays: Monday 15 June and Tuesday 16 June (Youth Day).
Michaelmas Term - Tuesday 8 September (Staff Day 7 September) – Friday 4 December
Half Term - Thursday 22 October to Tuesday 27 October
Public Holidays: Thursday 24 September (Heritage Day) and Friday 25 September.
Note: The Department of Education requires schools to be in session for a certain number of days in a year. To fulfil our quota we need to fit in a number of Saturdays to make up the time. This is common practice amongst all ISASA schools. In particular for 2026 our compulsory Saturdays may include Speech Day, some Saturday exams, team sports’ selection days, Winter Sports Day and the Youth Day Festival. These Saturdays will be announced well in advance so that parents and guardians will be able to make the necessary arrangements.
Reports
The High School issue students with end-of-term reports after each term. The Pre-Preparatory School and Preparatory school only issue term reports.
