Exciting Changes in The Pre-Prep Phase

For parents’ convenience, we have introduced a cooked lunchtime meal in addition to two snacks for children from grade 000 to 00. The Grade 000 class will now also welcome children from two and a half years old.

In addition to the cooked lunch and snacks, supervision will be provided in the Pre-Prep area until 17h00 daily. The meals and supervision are included in the new and more affordable fees.

There is great excitement about our new sensory garden that is currently being planted. This garden is designed to stimulate the five senses. In a world of high-tech and low-touch, our sensory garden will provide our children with multi-sensory encounters. These experiences are vital for developing their visual, auditory, proprioceptive, and tactile systems.  Sensory gardens improve mental health, reduce anxiety and bring about a sense of calm. Our children will be encouraged to touch, smell, taste, and interact with the various plants.

Two afternoon activities – Zumba and cycling will be available for the Grade 00 and 0 children.

Children will have a new bicycle track to cycle on too!

While the fees for the Prep School have been reduced this does not mean we have compromised on quality.  The following will remain included in the fees in the Pre-Prep phase:

  • Kinetix, a gross motor development programme
  • Playball
  • The much-loved library visits
  • Music with our specialist music teacher
  • Ball skills
  • Class outings and visits

We are looking forward to an exciting year in 2022!
