Past Meets Present at the 2025 Alumni Sports Festival
A Day of Sport, Spirit, and Shared Memories
On Saturday, 31 May, St Martin’s School proudly hosted the 2025 Alumni Sports Festival, a much-anticipated event that brought former students back to campus for a day of sport, celebration, and community connection.
Central to the day was the Akash Singh Memorial Match, honouring the legacy of a beloved member of the St Martin’s community. The event saw alumni face off against our current first teams in netball, soccer, and hockey, in a series of friendly matches that were both competitive and deeply meaningful.
The festival was a true celebration of the St Martin’s spirit - where the bond between past and present players was felt both on and off the field. Alumni showed their skills while reconnecting with old friends, mentors, and memories, while current students proudly represented the future of St Martin’s sport.
Fun for the Whole Family
Off the pitch, the atmosphere was equally lively. The Family Fun Day element brought families together for a relaxed afternoon, complete with braais, laughter, and inflatable fun for the kids.
With braais sizzling and children enjoying games on the lawn, it was a reminder of what makes the St Martin’s community so special - shared history, warm connections, and a love for tradition.
Thank You to Our Community
A heartfelt thank you to all the alumni, families, players, and staff who helped make the day such a success. Events like these reinforce the strong ties within the St Martin’s family - and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again next year.
