Pre-Preparatory visit to the Lory Park Zoo
It was such a pleasure to visit such a spectacular zoo especially when we basically had the entire place to ourselves. The children were guided through the zoo to learn about and observe the animals in cages, however some were brought out for more of a one-on-one interaction.
The children were even able to touch these animals which included a hedgehog, tortoise, cockatoo, snake, owl and even a giant bearded dragon. Some teachers were also given the opportunity to have a close-up encounter with the cheetahs. The day ended with all enjoying a lovely picnic in the grounds of the zoo.
