Roanne Verster, a proud member of St Martin’s Class of 1994, currently serves as the Head of Mathematics at the school. Her academic journey began with earning a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, followed by the completion of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programme at UNISA. This solid educational foundation led her into the world of teaching, where she initially taught Accounting and Mathematics before expanding her repertoire to include Business Studies. However, it is in Mathematics where Roanne has discovered her true passion, and she now focuses exclusively on this subject.
As an educator, Roanne is deeply committed to fostering an environment of growth and excellence. She believes that qualities such as commitment, perseverance, and dedication are vital for both teachers and students alike.
