The St Martin's matric math camp will rock you
The annual St Martin’s Maths Camp yet again proved to be incredibly valuable for our Matrics.
Although none of them seem to agree with my sentiment that there can hardly be a better way to spend a weekend than doing mathematics, they enjoyed their time away – particularly the activities that were interspersed with the mathematics.
There was an obstacle course, they went zip lining and wall climbing and the evening I spent with them, they had a drumming workshop. One of the songs they drummed and sang to was the famous Queen number, ‘We will we will Rock you’. Now that was music – and the kids loved it
