Welcome to Reverend Bhekisisa Mahlambi
We are delighted to welcome Reverend Bhekisisa Mahlambi to St Martin’s as the school’s fulltime Chaplain. As staff returned to campus for a meeting to begin the academic year and to orientate new children for online learning, Revd Bhekisisa led the staff in prayer and encouraged staff not to be afraid of another year of living with the covid pandemic, but to pray, have faith and trust in our heavenly Father, knowing that Jesus is the light of the world.
Revd Bhekisisa previously ministered at St Gabriel’s, Parish of Wentworth in the Diocese of Natal. His wife, Ngimphiwe and two children, daughter Yenkosi (Grade 2) and son Uluthando (Grade 4) join our prep school community.
Revd Bhekisisa loves soccer and smooth jazz music and is keen to begin his ministry in our community.
Owing to Covid regulations, we are not able to host our usual beginning of term services in our beautiful chapel, however Revd Bhekisisa’s initial plans are to conduct services online.
We look forward to spirit-filled virtual services for our school community and to many more of Reverend Bhekisisa’s ministries to our staff and students in the Chapel.
