Winter Sports Day 2026 Celebrates Teamwork, Talent and School Spirit
On Saturday, 30 May 2026, St Martin's School proudly hosted its annual Winter Sports Day, welcoming over 1,000 participants, together with families, visiting schools, and supporters for a memorable day of friendly competition, teamwork, and school spirit.
Throughout the day, the campus was filled with excitement as learners participated in a variety of sporting and academic activities. Netball, soccer, chess, and quiz competitions provided opportunities for students to showcase their talents while embracing the values of respect, perseverance, and sportsmanship that are central to life at St Martin's. A Festival of Sport, Strategy, and Teamwork
The fields, courts, classrooms, and competition venues were alive with enthusiasm as learners proudly represented their schools across each event.
Fast-paced netball matches showcased excellent teamwork and determination, while the soccer fields produced exciting contests filled with skill, energy, and perseverance. Away from the sporting fields, learners demonstrated impressive concentration and strategic thinking during the chess tournament, while teams participating in the quiz competition displayed their knowledge, quick thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

Celebrating Sportsmanship and Community
One of the defining features of the Winter Sports Day was the spirit in which every match and competition was played.
