Winter Sports Festival Showcases Prep Pride and Community Spirit
A Day of Sportsmanship, Smiles, and School Spirit
On Saturday, 31 May, St Martin’s School hosted its highly anticipated Winter Sports Festival, bringing together Prep learners, visiting schools, and families for a memorable day filled with energy, competition, and camaraderie.
With the crisp winter air adding to the excitement, our Prep students stepped onto the fields and courts with determination, showing off their growing skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in every match played. From fast-paced netball and soccer games to moments of perseverance and teamwork, the young athletes gave it their all - and had plenty of fun along the way.
Coaches vs. Parents - A Friendly Face-Off
One of the day’s most entertaining highlights came in the form of a light-hearted but competitive match between coaches and parents. The friendly game drew laughter, cheers, and a few surprising displays of talent - proving that the love of sport runs deep in the St Martin’s community.
This spirited face-off captured the essence of the day - fun, connection, and a shared commitment to supporting the students, both on and off the field.
Thank You to Our Supporters and Guests
A big thank you goes out to the visiting schools whose participation added so much to the day, and to the parents, families, and supporters who lined the sidelines to cheer on the teams. Your presence and encouragement made the atmosphere electric and truly unforgettable for our young players.
We’re incredibly proud of every student, coach, and volunteer who contributed to the success of this festival. Events like these are a reminder of the strength of our school spirit and the joy of coming together to celebrate sport and community.
