Several students achieved exceptional individual results in the 2025 examinations. Cayden Atti led the cohort with seven distinctions across English Home Language, Afrikaans First Additional Language, Business Studies, Dramatic Arts, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Life Orientation. His Life Orientation result placed him in the top 1% nationally.

 

Other notable achievers include Tiago Juve with four distinctions; Hadi Khalife and Khumo Tyuwa with three distinctions each; Marina Castro and Mvuselelo Sibanda with two distinctions; and Jordan Bennett with one distinction. Marina Castro’s Portuguese Second Additional Language result also placed her in the top 1% nationally.

 

Alongside these achievements, many students recorded meaningful personal bests, reflecting progress, perseverance, and confidence developed over time.

Academic Quality Reflected Across Subjects

The strength of the 2025 results is evident not only in distinctions but in subject performance across the cohort. Class averages in Business Studies, Mathematical Literacy, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences exceeded IEB national averages, highlighting the depth and quality of teaching at St Martin’s.
