FEDA performance of “Metamorphosis”

The Drama students participated in the recent 2019 FEDA (Festival of Excellence in Dramatic Arts) performing Frank Kafka’s “Metamorphosis”.

The audience watched in fascination as Katiso Molefe woke up as a giant insect and scared the living daylights out of his family! The play was directed by matric student, Yonaka Theledi under the guidance of Ashálin Singh. Considering this was the first year St Martin’s has participated in the FEDA plays, the actors and actresses did very well and were nominated for three awards including best costume design, best newcomers, best director.

In addition, Nathi Katsana and Katiso Molefe were awarded merit certificates for acting while Yonaka Theledi received a merit certificate for makeup design, while the full cast received an award for ensemble.
