St Martin’s 2025 Junior Cycle Rally brought joy, adventure, and colourful challenges as young cyclists pedalled through an imaginative course filled with fun and community spirit.

An Unforgettable Ride for Young Cyclists

On Saturday, 10 May 2025, St Martin’s School hosted another successful Junior Cycle Rally, welcoming children, families, and friends for a day of energetic outdoor fun and adventure.

With excitement in the air and helmets on heads, young riders from the Pre-Prep, Foundation Phase and Prep School classes tackled a creatively themed course designed to spark their imagination and build their confidence. The rally offered not just a physical challenge, but a joyful journey through some wonderfully whimsical locations.

A Course Full of Colour, Challenge and Cheer

The 2025 rally route featured a spectacular lineup of stops that made each turn more thrilling than the last. Riders began their journey at Lollipop Lane, gliding into the sweetness of Candyland Lane, and quickly into the more technical stretches of Greasy Grass and the daring Dare Devil Driveway.

Next came the twisty turns of Checkmate Valley, followed by the cool splashes of Water Alley, and finally, the bumpy triumph of Troublesome Tarmac - each zone uniquely themed to capture the spirit of adventure and play.

Along the way, children showed incredible determination, laughter echoed across the course, and parents lined the edges, cheering on every young participant with pride.

Community Spirit on Full Display

More than just a race, the Junior Cycle Rally was a celebration of community, courage and creativity. From the cheering crowd to the enthusiastic volunteers and teachers guiding the way, the event buzzed with positive energy and togetherness.

Each child who participated received a medal - a token of their bravery, effort, and the fun they had along the ride. The smiles on their faces as they crossed the finish line were proof of a day well spent.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event a success - from organisers and staff to parents and volunteers. Your support helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
